At the end of movie 3 Yoda tell Obi-wan that he can train to talk with Qui-gon. In movie 6 Obi-wan come as a spirit and talks to Luke, but nobody tells Luke he can talk to Qui-gon. And beside after they have been dead for so long the spirit passes on and Luke can no longer talk with them.

Not Qui-gon but Obi-wan is in Heir of the Empire and he tells Luke they won't be able to talk to him anymore.

Whiteboy is right, Never in the original movies do they mention Qui-Gon, but and the very end of episode III yoda says Qui-Gon has contacted him from the Netherworld of the force, and he will teach Obi-Wan to talk with him.

I Like episodes I, II, and III more because of the War that is takibng place. It is a much more balanced war and more excited than that between the Empire and the Rebellion. Also it has Obi-Wan in then more, and he plays a bigger role, which is just cool.
